Our silk pieces are hand pleated, without any mold or machine, by two sisters in their one-hundred-year-old family workshop in Marseille, France. Garments are naturally hand dyed with plants in our studio in Marseille, France. These unique artisanal techniques don’t require the use of any chemicals.
Dyed pieces are made from an organically produced cruelty free silk made by fairly paid skilled artisans in Jharkhand, India. Black pieces are made from a vintage silk made in France.

Each garment is unique, with slight color variation, waves of pleating and flaws inherent to the hand dyeing and hand pleating process. Plissé must be dry cleaned only, pleats may fade away in contact with water. In order to preserve the plissé in its best condition, we recommend to always store it away rolled-up in its fabric pouch. Store in a dark place, colors may fade if left in the sun. Pleats on natural fabrics will evolve and soften over time as you wear it. We believe this is part of the beauty of the garment.
