100 % merino wool (mérinos d’Arles) from France
100% organic, fair trade, cruelty free satin silk, woven in India.
Naturally hand dyed, hand felted and sewn in Marseille, France.

This singular fabric is crafted using the nuno felt technique: layers of wool fibers and a piece of satin silk fabric are hand-felted together with warm water and soap. As the merino wool shrinks, it naturally gathers the silk, forming an organic, crumpled texture with rich depth and movement.
Care

Delicate and fragile, this piece requires gentle handling.
Wool doesn’t need washing after every wear—hang it to air, avoiding direct sunlight that can fade the color.

Gently hand-wash in cool water with mild detergent; avoid hot water to prevent shrinkage. Soak briefly, then gently agitate without rubbing. Rinse thoroughly and lay flat on a towel to air dry, reshaping as needed. Iron inside out on low heat. Do not keep folded.
